The London Breastfeeding Boutique

You're worthy of feeling like your most comfortable self while feeding your baby.  I'm here to help with that.

Location & Hours

The London Breastfeeding Boutique is located 1 Cliftonvale Ave - just off of Wharncliffe Road South in London, Ontario.

My regular business hours (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) offer you the ability to drop by my shop when it is convenient for you (and your baby!).  If you are looking for a nursing bra, I offer a complimentary fitting service in-store to help you get the best fit possible.

If my business hours do not work for you, send me a message or click the link below to book an appointment into my calendar. Once it is booked I'll meet you at the shop at that time and you and I can work together for up to an hour to find exactly what you need.

Babies, toddlers, preschoolers, tiny humans of all ages are always welcome at my shop.  I've got a small stash of books, toys, and a bouncer chair to help keep them entertained.

Options for out of town-ers

Not local to London?  Here are two ways we can work together to get you what you need:

1. Make an appointment with me when it works for you to make the trip. Just click the link above or send me an email to set it up. There is no additional charge for appointments. It just guarantees I know when I'll be seeing you, which is helpful for my #momlife.

Since you're making the trip though, you may want to bring a friend or two with you to make it more worthwhile, right? If you bring one friend and you both make a purchase I'll give each of you 10% off your orders. If you bring two or more friends and everyone makes a purchase I'll give each of you 15% off.

2. Buy online with sizing consultation. Here's how it works: you contact me ahead of time and we either chat on the phone or set up a Zoom video call so I can help you with your measurements. Based on your measurements and style preferences, you let me know which products interest you and I recommend one or two sizes to try.

You then hop online and purchase all of the products that interest you and pay for shipping (typically $10-15). I send you the products and enclose a bag with a pre-paid (by me) shipping label for you to return the items that don't fit. You keep the ones you like, return the ones you don't. So long as I receive the returned items in like-new condition as though you had simply tried them on in my store and put them back on the rack, and they are returned to me within 2 weeks, I will refund you the money for the items you don't wish to keep.

Questions about any of this? Just let me know - I'm happy to help!

The Story

Angela opened The London Breastfeeding Boutique in 2018.  She had been dreaming of opening a business that would support breastfeeding moms ever since relocating away from her favourite local breastfeeding boutique in Ottawa - Milkface.  When she met another mama-to-be in London who wanted to breastfeed her baby but had been unsuccessful at finding a properly fitting nursing bra, Angela knew it was the right time to open a store that would bring in a wide range of sizes and styles of nursing bras, offer a fitting service with them, and also carry breastfeeding-friendly apparel and other products that make the lives of breastfeeding moms easier.

"How can we make this feel good for you?" [a sentence that changed the way I parent and live my life]

...It was a lot.  And, no matter what age you are, or how good the change is, change is hard.

Bras I used as a nursing mama who struggled with clogged ducts and mastitis

After battling the blocks a couple times, I discovered that I needed to prevent my ducts from clogging in the first place. I did that by altering my wardrobe. These two products were such life savers for me that I carry both in my store.

What I'm getting at is that I felt really inspired by this post. It really helped me form my vision for my boutique - to be a place for the mother to be mothered. A place to help make their commitment to giving their babies the best nourishment possible a little easier. A little more comfortable.
